Glowing images are a personal favorite of mine and have become increasingly popular on the internet over the past few years.

If you've always wanted to learn how to create realistic light on your images then you're in the right place! In this course you'll learn how to create glow and light from scratch.

    Using adjustment layers and masks, we'll shape the light, build our glow foundation, and create atmosphere & mood.

LET'S GET GLOWING!

This is the image that we will be working from. You will receive all source images as well as the composited and finished PSD files.

Please note, we will not be compositing in this course. We will only be creating the glow on the piece below.

Not a fan of jellyfish or this image? Don't worry, everything you will learn in this course can be applied to ANY photo (just scroll down to see what I mean!)

You can also add whatever you want inside the bottle or in the background. I encourage you to get creative!

  • Photoshop CC This class was recorded on PS 2020 (Lessons will still work if you are on an older or newer version of Photoshop but some tools may perform differently)

  • A computer (Photoshop for iPad doesn't have the options that you need for this course)

  • A working keyboard and mouse and/or tablet

  • Optional: Tablet and/or Astropad and Apple Pencil. NOT REQUIRED

  • Willingness to learn!
